Seniors might need to consider everything on speed dating sometime before taking the rarely believed step…

We share our home, our bodies, and thoughts, and our hearts. Whether it’s your gut or a voice inside your head… please listen! When I was wrong about his name my best friend called me pathetic. Since when did it become okay to send a text to invite someone out to dinner, instead of picking up the phone and making that awkward first call? The awkwardness becomes the comforting norm. There is a free dating site or two out there, but compared to the cost of going on bad dates, pretty much all the paid dating sites are worth their price of admission with the exception of eHarmony, which is a rip-off. Internet dating is fast – traditional dating personals are slow. Online dating is a bit safer than a blind date, or picking someone up at the club… you have a chance to exchange e-mails, then phone numbers, before ever seeing your potential date. However, please remember your date is still a stranger and should be treated as such. Most of it anyway. I had used traditional dating services, filled out dating personals, and pretty much tried everything an adult dating these days would do.
